Operation Center在中国可能有很多种名称，例如指挥中心、运维室、总控中心等等，国外可能也有很多名称，不管名称如何，任何一个上规模得数据总心或者运维单位一般都有一个这样得中心，来负责所管理IT设备、系统得运行维护工作。最近几天，我搜集了网路上一些国外Operation Center得资料和信息，开拓视野，为国内相关设施得建设，增添一些可以参考的资源。

一、高大上的操作中心。这类操作中心设施很先进、齐全，装修的风格也给人赏心悦目的感觉。一来为了工作方便，二来也是向外界展示技术水平的一个窗口。

AT&T 在Bedminster, New Jersy的Network Operation Center，后来更名为Global Network Operation Center。

一篇记者的文章中提到，一进入GNOC，就被带到了一个影音室（Movie Room）观看整个中心的介绍影片，并且能够一览中心的全貌。估计就在下图中左侧第二层的位置。中心24小时均有人值守，电视墙一共有141块大屏幕，大约有130名员工（2012年数据）。在此之外两个小时车程的地方，有一个灾备中心，可供紧急情况下使用。

看一下波音公司的操作中心。

据文章中称，操作中心每天大约处理55个服务请求，150通电话，最初一年的客户满意度在80%（不知道这个是怎么测算出来的）。

波音Operation Center的工作方式。How the center works
When you contact the Operations Center, you talk with a controller, who is responsible for all incoming work to the center. You and the controller discuss and define the issue. The controller then works with functional leads — representing structures, systems, spares, and other disciplines — to develop options to resolve the issue. Following this collaboration, you and the controller reach a joint decision on the optimum solution. Boeing then starts work to fulfill your request within the agreed-upon time, and the performance of the center is measured against that exact time — to the minute — until the job is complete.
